These Terms and Conditions apply to all educational events, workshops, seminars and other continuing professional development (CPD) events ("Event") conducted by Fogg Surgical Anatomy ("Fogg Surgical Anatomy", "FSA", "we", "our" or "us").

By registering for, attending, or participating in an Event, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1. Event Provider

Fogg Surgical Anatomy organises and delivers educational events for healthcare professionals. Events may be conducted at facilities owned or operated by Australian universities, hospitals, medical schools, research institutions, or other approved venues.

The host venue provides facilities only and, unless expressly stated, is not responsible for the administration, content, accreditation, or operation of the Event.

2. Eligibility

2.1 Participation is restricted to healthcare professionals who hold current registration, licensing, accreditation, or professional membership permitting them to practise within their profession.

2.2 Participants may be required to provide evidence of:

  • Current professional registration;

  • Registration number;

  • Professional discipline or specialty;

  • Employer or place of practice; and

  • Identification upon arrival.

2.3 Fogg Surgical Anatomy reserves the right to verify registration status with relevant professional boards, regulators, or professional bodies.

2.4 Fogg Surgical Anatomy may refuse, cancel, or terminate a registration where:

  • Eligibility requirements are not met;

  • Registration details are inaccurate or misleading; or

  • Participant conduct is inconsistent with professional standards.

2.5 Students, non-clinical personnel, industry representatives, and members of the general public may only attend where specifically authorised by Fogg Surgical Anatomy.

3. Registration and Payment

3.1 Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment and written confirmation from Fogg Surgical Anatomy.

3.2 All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

3.3 Registrations are personal and may not be shared.

3.4 Fogg Surgical Anatomy reserves the right to limit participant numbers and close registrations at any time.

4. Cancellations and Transfers

Participant Cancellation

4.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing.

4.2 Unless otherwise stated in Event-specific information:

  • More than 30 days before the Event: full refund

  • Between 14 and 30 days before the Event: 50% refund.

  • Less than 14 days before the Event: no refund.

4.3 Registrations may be transferred to another eligible healthcare professional nominated by the participant up to seven (7) days before the Event, subject to approval by Fogg Surgical Anatomy.

4.4 Failure to attend does not entitle a participant to a refund, transfer, or credit.

Cancellation by Fogg Surgical Anatomy

4.5 Fogg Surgical Anatomy reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, relocate, modify, or cancel an Event where necessary.

4.6 If an Event is cancelled by Fogg Surgical Anatomy, participants will receive either:

  • A full refund of registration fees; or

  • Transfer to a rescheduled event.

4.7 Fogg Surgical Anatomy is not liable for travel expenses, accommodation costs, loss of income, practice disruption, or other consequential losses arising from cancellation, postponement, or schedule changes.

5. Continuing Professional Development (CPD)

5.1 Fogg Surgical Anatomy may obtain accreditation, endorsement, approval, or recognition from relevant professional colleges, associations, boards, or accreditation bodies.

5.2 Any CPD hours, points, or educational credits advertised for an Event are based on information available at the time of publication.

5.3 Participants remain responsible for:

  • Determining whether the Event satisfies CPD requirements applicable to their profession;

  • Maintaining their own CPD records; and

  • Meeting all obligations imposed by their regulator, employer, college, or professional body.

5.4 Fogg Surgical Anatomy does not guarantee that any professional board, college, employer, regulator, or accrediting body will recognise attendance for CPD purposes.

5.5 Changes to accreditation status, CPD allocations, or professional recognition shall not give rise to any entitlement to a refund.

6. Certificates of Attendance

6.1 Certificates of Attendance or Completion will be issued only to participants who:

  • Attend the Event;

  • Complete all required attendance verification procedures;

  • Complete any mandatory evaluations, assessments, or feedback surveys where required; and

  • Comply with these Terms and Conditions.

6.2 Attendance verification may include:

  • Sign-in records;

  • Electronic attendance monitoring;

  • QR code check-in;

  • Session attendance tracking; or

  • Other verification methods determined by Fogg Surgical Anatomy.

6.3 Certificates are issued as evidence of attendance only unless expressly stated otherwise.

6.4 Fogg Surgical Anatomy reserves the right to withhold, amend, or revoke certificates where attendance records are incomplete, inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent.

7. Educational Content and Clinical Responsibility

7.1 Educational content is provided for professional education purposes only.

7.2 Information presented during an Event should not be relied upon as a substitute for independent clinical judgement, professional advice, or compliance with current clinical standards.

7.3 Participants are responsible for independently evaluating and applying information in accordance with:

  • Current evidence;

  • Professional standards;

  • Regulatory requirements; and

  • Individual patient circumstances.

7.4 Fogg Surgical Anatomy does not warrant the clinical suitability, completeness, or ongoing accuracy of Event content.

8. Body Donor and Laboratory Training

Where an Event includes the use of Body Donor resources, either through observation, examination, dissection or other forms of simulation:

8.1 Participants must comply with all venue protocols, safety requirements, ethical standards, and instructions provided by Event faculty and venue personnel.

8.2 Participants must treat all Body Donor resources and related materials with dignity, professionalism, and respect.

8.3 Photography, recording, copying, sharing, publication, or distribution of Body Donor resources, Donor information, or laboratory activities is strictly prohibited unless expressly authorised in writing.

8.4 Any breach of this clause may result in immediate removal from the Event without refund and may be reported to relevant authorities or professional regulators.

9. Professional Conduct

9.1 Participants must behave professionally and respectfully at all times.

9.2 Participants must comply with:

  • Applicable professional codes of conduct;

  • AHPRA and National Board requirements where applicable;

  • Venue policies;

  • Workplace health and safety requirements; and

  • Reasonable directions given by Event staff.

9.3 Harassment, discrimination, bullying, intimidation, disruptive behaviour, intoxication, or unlawful conduct will not be tolerated.

9.4 Fogg Surgical Anatomy may remove a participant from an Event without refund where conduct is considered inappropriate, unsafe, unethical, or inconsistent with professional standards.

10. Privacy and Confidentiality

10.1 Participants must not disclose identifiable patient or Body Donor information during discussions, case presentations, workshops, or networking activities.

10.2 Any clinical material presented by participants must comply with applicable privacy legislation and professional obligations.

10.3 Personal information collected during registration and attendance will be managed in accordance with applicable Australian privacy laws and Fogg Surgical Anatomy's Privacy Policy.

10.4 Information may be used for:

  • Event administration;

  • CPD administration;

  • Certificate issuance;

  • Accreditation reporting requirements;

  • Regulatory compliance; and

  • Future educational communications where permitted by law.

11. Photography and Recording

11.1 Fogg Surgical Anatomy may photograph, film, or record portions of the Event for educational, promotional, reporting, or archival purposes.

11.2 By attending, participants consent to the use of their image, voice, likeness, professional title, and professional affiliation in such materials unless they notify Fogg Surgical Anatomy in writing before the Event.

11.3 Participants may not record presentations, educational content, faculty discussions, demonstrations, or practical sessions without prior written consent.

12. Intellectual Property

12.1 All Event materials, presentations, recordings, slides, manuals, handouts, videos, and educational resources remain the intellectual property of Fogg Surgical Anatomy, presenters, or relevant rights holders.

12.2 Participants are granted a limited licence to use Event materials solely for their personal professional education.

12.3 Event materials must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, uploaded, published, sold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

13. Liability

13.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fogg Surgical Anatomy excludes liability for any loss, injury, damage, cost, expense, or claim arising from participation in an Event.

13.2 Participants attend Events at their own risk.

13.3 Fogg Surgical Anatomy shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, or economic loss, including loss of income, business interruption, or professional practice impacts.

13.4 Where liability cannot be excluded by law, Fogg Surgical Anatomy’s liability is limited to the amount of the registration fee paid by the participant.

13.5 Nothing in these Terms excludes rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

14. Force Majeure

Fogg Surgical Anatomy shall not be liable for any delay, modification, interruption, or cancellation resulting from circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • Natural disasters;

  • Severe weather;

  • Public health emergencies;

  • Government restrictions;

  • Venue closure;

  • Industrial action;

  • Utility failures; or

  • Any other force majeure event.

15. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Australia and the State or Territory in which the Event is conducted.

Participants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State or Territory.
